The ever-busy folk at Roxio have just announced another new product release, and this time it's MyDVD Premier 10 that's been confirmed. The product is a video editing and DVD creation suite of tools, that is claimed to make it easy to turn photos and home videos into professional-looking output.

As well as the standard features you'd expect of such applications, Roxio boasts of SmartSound technology that adds a bang-on soundtrack to suit your production, and a new picture-in-picture tool to let you create real-time video overlays.

There's also a collection of features that are aimed at the mobile media enthusiast, including the correction of photos taken with mobile phone cameras, and a tool to synchronise media between a PC and a portable device.

Roxio has set a price point of £49.99 for the package, which is part of the Easy Media Creator 10 family.
