Photoshop Online Beta Launches
24 April, 2008 by IT Reviews Staff
Adobe has long stated its intention to provide software that's available online rather than in a physical form, and it's taken a further step in that direction by opening up a beta of its new Web edition of Photoshop.
Entitled Photoshop Express, the software allows its users to interact with photo libraries through an assortment of social networking tools, and then - as you'd expect - adds editing functions to the mix. Adobe is also going to provide 2GB of storage space for photos with each user account.
It's a package that offers far from the level of sophistication that you'd get from the main Photoshop package, but given that this is a first beta - and one that was originally going to be released last year - that's hardly a surprise. To sign up for the beta, and to find out more, you need to head over to the Web site linked below.
